Welcome!
Welcome to Chronic Healing!
Some of you found this blog because you’re familiar with the blog that preceded it, Jeanne’s Endo Blog. Others have found this blog through other means. Whatever it is that brings you here, welcome!!
The following is the first video associated with this blog. It gives a brief bit of background.
Please take a few moments to navigate around the site. I think you’ll find it easier to locate things (and more quickly) than on the previous blog.
In the near future, there will be blog giveaways including:
An autographed Jannie Funster CD (just released)
Three different books donated by Kelly Damron of Twin Peas Blog and Podcast
A book donated by Rosalind Joffe of cicoach.com
Some surprises that Alicia (aka Yaya) of Yaya Stuff is donating as well!
I will have to pace myself with the schedule for the blog giveaways because, well, I am exhausted! So I will be doing them in the near future… but mostly likely one contest/prize at a time.
So please bear with me as I roll these blog giveaways out gradually. The rules for each giveaway will be clearly stated in future posts. So stay tuned for more details.
I hope you’ll enjoy Chronic Healing! I am very much looking forward to your comments on the new blog.
P.S. Please note the “Tweet This” function at the end of each post! How cool is that??? Cassie rocks!

Congratulations!!!!! I’ll put a lil message on my blog about your new blog tonight!! You already show up in my blog reader so my ‘follower’ status must have switched over on its own. Oh, I tried to watch your vlog but it said it has been disabled…hopefully just a temporary glitch.

Alicia,
Thank you!!!!! That’s great! I appreciate your blogging about my blog’s move. Do you mean the Blogger follower friend carried over? I’m just curious. I’m sorry the video didn’t play for you! Hmm. It plays on my blog so I thought it was all set. My YouTube settings have been changed since that company took my copyrighted video and started using it to sell their product (implying that I endorse it). I wonder if that’s it? Can you view it from my YouTube channel OK? Just click the YouTube button to get to my channel. Thank you for letting me know!

Hi Jeanne! LOVE the new site! It looks amazing! I’m SO excited! I’ll put a link to it in my next post on my blog. Great job!!
Happy blogoversary!
CONGRATS on the news blog, Jeanne! It looks great and all the hard work paid off. I know it took a lot of out of you, but it was worth it, wasn’t it?
I’ll update my blogroll so future visitors will hit this site and not your old one. Also, I can’t view the video. It says “embedding disabled by request.”

Welcome Teena in Toronto!
Wow… it’s nice to see new faces.
Thank you for stopping by!
Jeanne
Endochick,
THANK YOU! I’m so glad it’s up and running.
I’m just grateful to Cassie Germsheid (of Mamas On The Web) for working so hard on it. We had some interesting glitches to overcome but Cassie makes things happen.
THANK YOU for thinking to update your blogroll with my new blog name and blog address… and I’m hoping that others will do the same. That’s one of the things that I should mention in future posts. The video works now. I’m sorry it didn’t work earlier. I know why it didn’t work but won’t get into it now. It’s a long story having to do with copyrights. I don’t have the energy to elaborate. Thanks for letting me know, though. There were a few of you that tried it earlier and couldn’t see it. It should be OK now.
Thanks!
Jeanne
J,
Thank you!!!
I know! Isn’t the “Tweet This” going to be FUN?
Jeanne
Pamela Jeanne,
Thank you! Cassie Germsheid was the one who helped me with the blog transfer and she doesn’t mess around. I’m excited to finally be moved over here from my previous blog.
Jeanne
Hi Sonja!
When you say “automatically switched”, are you talking about the little box that comes up on the screen of the old blog telling you that you’re being re-directed here… or something else? I’m just curious. Thank you!!
Jeanne
When I log onto blogger, and with the list of blogs that I follow, “Chronic Healing” was already there waiting for me so I was just able to click on your “Welcome” post and it brought me right to it!

Hi Jeanne,
First off, congrats on your blog-versary. When you first started did you ever on earth think that you would be growing to where you are at now? You have created something wonderful and inspiring and helpful for those who live their days with chronic illnesses.
While I am relatively new to the blog world, I can appreciate the great time and effort you spend to not only write informative and helpful posts to educate others on a wide variety of topics, but to also take the time to individually reply to any comments that are left. You deserve all the kudos
Take care,
Melissa

Sonja,
OK, so it sounds like you’re talking about in the Google feeder that you access in the Blogger dashboard or something? From there it’s giving you this link?

Welcome to a new year in blogging; congratulations on the move to WordPress, your own domain & SUCH an appropriate one to boot! I look forward to seeing where the changes will take you as well as sharing your valuable insights on Chronic Healing. ^_^
Thanx again for sharing my interview.. http://somedaysyndrome.com/2009/05/living-with-someday-in-constant-pain/
I know you strive to connect those of us w/chronic illnesses & keep us informed, for which I’m thankful. Do let me know when & how I can help. ~_~

Jeanne,
Everything looks great here and the video worked fine for me. I’m sure you’ll do well her and kudos to you and your new format.
Hey coffeesister! What’s brewing?
First, thank you so much for all of your support on twitter. I really appreciate it!
Yes, I like starting out my second year of blogging in these digs. Cassie does good work! I asked for blue rippled water and you see what I got. Perfection. Cassie doesn’t mess around.
I love the blog name. Cassie and I collaborated on that one. I had explained to her what I was looking for in a name. I was trying to find a blog name with “chronic” in it that didn’t sound dismal and dreary. We went over several words to pair with “chronic” before Cassie came up with “healing”. It sounded perfect to me! (Cassie is a regular genius).
I was happy to tweet the URL for that interview you mentioned because it was a great article on coping with chronic illness. I think people with many different chronic conditions can benefit from that post. (Psst: Readers, if you haven’t read the post linked above, you might want to check it out).
Yes, stayed connected and informed is so important when coping with chronic conditions! Thank you so much. You’ve already helped a great deal on twitter.
Awesome quote!

Congratulations, Jeanne! It looks beautiful! Good job. And thanks so much for including The Canary Report in your Healing Posse. xoxo

Melissa,
Thank you. Hmm. I guess the best answer would be that I had no clue a year ago that I’d be this addicted to blogging.
Seriously, your kind words are much appreciated. Of course, you are never at a shortage for kind words.
While you may be relatively new to the blog world, you have been facilitating the Goddesses of Endometriosis online support group for endometriosis for what, 7-8 years now? With almost 1,000 members?
So even before you started blogging you had plenty of experiences that have been great teachers. (They say experience is the greatest teacher, right?) Anyway, I know you are well aware of the time and effort that goes into blogging on health topics where there’s always research to be done and there are always facts to check.
I really appreciate your thoughtful comments and you know (from personal experience) about the time/effort that goes into posts where a fair amount of research is needed… because you have a similar writing style so far as checking things out and getting the research to back it up. Plus, you individually reply to comments too. So kudos to you!
Thank you so much for the support you give me every day, literally!
By the way, the post you wrote today made me cry and I will need to mosey over to your blog to comment ASAP but wanted to thank you for the touching post you wrote today: “An Amazing Friendship”. Indeed it is!! (Readers, here is the thoughtful post from Melissa today: (http://endobattle.blogspot.com/2009/06/amazing-friendship.html)
Melissa, you are one special lady!
Take care,
Jeanne
Thank you! I’m happy to hear you’ve been waiting for it.
Jeanne
Kelly,
Thank you!!
I appreciate your support and I know readers here will appreciate your generous book donations for blog giveaway prizes!
Take care,
Jeanne
Welcome Sue!
Thank you. Yes, I fixed the video glitch earlier (long story). I really appreciate your kind words.
Take care,
Jeanne
P.S. It’s lovely the number of twitter friends who are visiting me here today!
Aloha Susie!
Thank you! Thanks too for promoting my blog online!! I’m glad you like it. Susie, you’ll always be in my “posse”.
Mahalo! (Did I spell it right?)
Jeanne

Jeannette’s last blog post..SUPPORT FOR THOSE INJURED IN THE WORKPLACE
Jeannette,
Hi! Thank you! A blog transfer such as this isn’t simple. That’s true. So I was very fortunate to work with Cassie Germsheid. She does excellent work. Yes, I am glad the move is over. That last few days got a bit nerve-wracking for me but Cassie helped me through it.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you sending people via email, twitter, and Facebook communications. Thank you.
You are in my thoughts. I hope you can get some pain relief very soon. I know it’s hard. Hang in there!
Thanks again.
Take care,
Jeanne
P.S. Be sure to enter to win a CD on today’s post “Blog Giveaway 1″. I love it.
Music helps me feel better when I’m in pain.
Hey Jeanne, best of luck with the launch of the new blog hope it is going swimmingly! Take care, hope you are as well as possible!

Hi Laura!
Thank you! I appreciate it. Hope you’re recovering from all of the activity with May’s Blue Ribbon campaign for M.E./C.F.S. I know I’ll be seeing you on twitter.
If you like music, check out today’s post re: a Blog Giveaway of a CD.
Jeanne
P.S. If you get the energy at some future point, feel free to send a tweet out about my new blog. You know how 1 little tweet with a “please retweet” on it can take on a life of its own? Thank you!!
Jeanne,
CONGRATS! Your new site looks AMAZING! I know how much hard work you put in – and it really shows! I am so psyched for you, and to help you share your fantastic knowledge with the rest of the blogosphere!
XOXOXO
Hey you!
Welcome!!
THANKS! I’m glad you like it! It has kept me out of trouble.
Thank goodness I had Cassie Germsheid working with me on it! She rocks!
Thank you! You are so sweet!
By the way, thank you so much for joining my new community on MyBlogLog! I just saw your face on its widget before I even found your blog comment. I had tried just simply changing the info in my existing widget from the old site info to the new… but it wasn’t cooperating. So I just made a brand new widget yesterday. You are one of the first to join on it. So thank you!
Whether it’s MyBlogLog, twitter, Facebook or other sites… the more places I can get the new blog name out there, the better. So please help me out with your speciality of tweeting and retweeting to get people aware of the change. Hard as I may try to get the word out, it helps me immensely to have buddies like you helping me spread the word!
Thanks again!
Jeanne
XOXOXO
Jeanne!!!
Congrats!! On your blogoversary…and your new site!! It is beautiful, really clean looking and I’m sure you are excited to get this up and running!!
Thank you for being a bright light in the blogging world. I’ve had trouble with the changeover to MyBlogLog also and really don’t want to start all over again…and I know we’ve been trying to write via that spot!!
You know I love you,
Shauna
Shauna’s last blog post..The Six Words I Never Wanted To Speak
Shauna,
Thank you!! Yes, I am very excited indeed to have this blog up and running.
Thank you. Yeah, MyBlogLog was not being very cooperative with switching widgets… That’s for sure! Hopefully you joined my new one because eventually I’m going to delete the old community on MBL. I had exchanged many notes with MBL support and was getting nowhere. So, I started from scratch. I didn’t really want to either but it became evident that I was going to spend a lot more time trying to force the old one to behave than to just make a new one!
I read your comments to Jeannette the other day on her blog. Very sweet. Once a nurse, always a nurse… right? (That was what I was trying to say in that post anyway).
Jeannette is very sweet.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see my new blog!
