Welcome to England

As regular readers here know, I try my best to break up the serious posts with art, music, and humor. One of my favorite methods for breaking up the intense posts is to post some music from Tori Amos. Not only is she my favorite musician but she happens to have endometriosis.

I am feeling a great deal of stress in the last few days and I use music to relax. Today, as I was driving home from the dentist (not a short drive since I commute to see a dentist who respects my multiple chemical sensitivity and he works hard to use the safest materials possible), I decided that it was time for a music post here. I was listening to the song you’ll see below while I was driving and I resolved to locate a video when I got home.

So without further ado, and with a nod to my fellow endometriosis patients in England, Amanda and Julie, here it is.

This is Tori Amos performing Welcome to England on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Enjoy!

Julie,

I’m happy to hear this cheered you up!!! I agree. When I need to relax, it’s music time! For me, that most often spells Tori.

Oh Jeanne, you just made my day. I SO needed that right now. I love it when she plays the keyboard and piano at the same time and flips back and forth. That would be so hard to do (at least for me!)

I could watch that over and over again all day :)

Pooba,

I am very happy to hear this made your day! You and me both! Me too. It’s amazing, isn’t it? I think it’s even a lot harder to do than most people realize. She’s so talented.

Feel free to come back and watch it as often as you like. ;)
