I’m sorry that you too were affected by the server outage that took my blog down yesterday. (It had to to with a virus at the server company and affected lots of people). So I was down for a few hours. Thank you for your persistence!

I’m glad you’re OK and sorry you’re working so much. It’s always fun to give “eye-openers” to people… in this case taking the form of the training you’ll be giving. That’s great news from your line manager! So endo is considered to fall under the disability discrimination act in the UK or just at your particular company?

I haven’t followed your blog extensively because I don’t really know that much about infertility and feel like I can’t really relate properly as I haven’t been through it myself and don’t want to leave “empty comments”. That being said, I do pop over occasionally and think of you. I shall certainly keep you and Josh in my thoughts and prayers – I might not know the desperation you must be feeling but I do know the desire for a family to love and raise and I will be hoping with all my heart that your long battle will provide you finally with the dream you have treasured for so long.

Thanks for updating us and I’m very glad you had such a lovely time together! Oh and yes I’m ok, just tired from work (every day this week we’ve served over 1600 people and yesterday and today we’ve done that with only 3 or 4 of us maximum at any one time – I have to train the head of service today in working the counter and serving customers – she’s never done it before and has finally decided she needs to see what it’s like before making all these policies about how quickly we have to answer the phone and how many services we offer etc… she’s in for a shock as this weekend is our busiest with a Darwin conference, an air show and the annual “big weekend” with free entertainment around the city… (glad I’m not working it!) All’s ok though, I’m much better. I heard from my line manager that HR have decided that yes endo does come under the disability discrimination act and they are looking into how that affects things like monitoring my sickness and working patterns – finally we’re getting somewhere! Oh and I am getting closer to deciding which direction to take my blog in – it’s very exciting – I think I’ll keep the one I have now in a slightly different format and start a new one with a friend for something new and exciting. Even so my current one might get “jazzed up” if I can figure out how to do a decent recording of some singing and work out what “slant” it will take – stay tuned ;o)
