Helping women with chronic illnesses

Sleep, Sleep, Sleep…

There is so much I want to do.

There is so much I want to say.

My body, however, won’t cooperate with my wishes… and that’s OK.

No matter how much there is to do.

No matter how much there is to say.

It will all have to wait for another day.

Right now… all I am concerned with is getting some sleep. No matter how much I’d rather be doing a number of other things, I need to listen to my body. It is screaming out for sleep. So, I am going to listen. Off I go to do just that…

Hope you slept like the Babe that you are.

Hope your dreams scattered you far.

To oceans and cafes and fields with no bad smells.

(Like air fresheners, paints and yucky hair gels.)

Ah Jannie… you crack me up. This “babe” is still awake at 5:26 am today. That’s not good. Insomnia is no fun. Well, at least it was nice to catch a much-needed nap the day I wrote this post.

I have been quite exhausted lately. In particular, the migraines have been relentless – plus the drastic weather changes have done a number fibromyalgia-wise. OW!

I’ve been a bad blogger… but I have just not been able to worry about it. Self-care has to come first. So, I’m trying not to sweat it.

As far as dreams are concerned, I need to try (again) to get my CPAP machine to work properly for me – so that I can treat my sleep apnea. (If I succeed at that, I might actually have some dreams). It has been a long time since I’ve had a dream. (At least the literal kind of dream one has while asleep). I have no shortage of dreams of the goal-setting type. LOL.

Yes… fragrance-free for me is the way to be.

P. S. I can’t wait to hear your second CD. I’m especially looking forward to your Banana Seat Bicycle song, of course. 😉

Thinking of you, as always.

Sleep is good. Hope you got your CPAP fixed. Hope the migraines have subsided. Mine have, thankfully. Maybe ’cause I”m off wine and beer. And having much less sugar.

To me you are and always will be a GOOD blogger, never bad. Well yes — bad a bit, but only bad at being bad. Because you’re ssooooooooooooooooooooo GOOD in general as a human. And friend.

Good on the goal setting.
