Since peace really does begin within, may I say I wish you the best health possible — now and forever!? I may? Thank you, Dear Jeanne.

May those entrusted with care of your health be as honest and caring as you.

And may all your deepest dreams come true.

Thank you, Jannie. You are so awesome. I wish you the best health possible as well. I’ll take permission to wish you that for granted. Hopefully I am not being presumptuous. 🙂

Jannie, if those entrusted with the care of my health have a fraction of your caring and ethics then I will be very lucky indeed because you have both in ‘spilling-over’ quantities! After many years of struggle, I have finally assembled a team of health care providers that really does care and is honest. They take my illnesses seriously and they are also highly skilled in their areas of specialty. I know that I am very fortunate.

Now the trick is how to pay for this excellent care. After having come very close to losing our house not once, not twice, but three times due to medical bills… I am especially sensitive to this topic. The cost of medical care is so very high that one serious illness or injury can decimate a family’s budget. Since I have several chronic illnesses, we have struggled for many years with medical bills that are just overwhelming. I am just very thankful that I am getting the care I need. Sadly, friends of mine every bit as ill as I am are not getting any medical care because they can’t afford it. This saddens me greatly.

May all your deepest dreams come true too. Jannie, I really admire you more than you know. Your positive spirit, your work to help others (that performance at the nursing home being a classic example of you sharing your talents as a musician to spread cheer to others), your humor, and your enlightened outlook are a beautiful example for others to emulate.

Jannie… thank you for being Jannie!
