Posse Profile On Allison
In addition to my regular blogroll (located in the left sidebar under navigation), I have a small group of bloggers that I have listed as my “healing posse”. I decided it was time to begin introducing you to them. Each one included in this group is someone I communicate with on a daily or very frequent basis. Each one has been extraordinarily helpful or supportive to me in some way, fights for the same causes I do, and is instrumental to me in healing.
Mutual support is so imperative for chronically ill patients!
By the way, throughout this post I will be including pictures I recently took at a peony festival.
Today I’d like to introduce you to Allison, author of the blog My Journey with Endometriosis.
Allison has Stage IV endometriosis. She had IVF last month. (She had had two laparoscopies prior to that). Unfortunately, she found out just days ago that her numbers dropped and she is not pregnant. My thoughts are with Allison and her husband at this difficult time. One look at Allison’s blog reveals that many others are thinking of them and supporting them through this.

Allison’s candid, open, and honest writing style on her blog attracts many followers and supporters. She doesn’t sugar-coat things; she tells them like they are. At the same time, she’s amazingly positive and not one to become bitter (even when she’d every right to do so). Her sweet, friendly manner and wonderfully detail-oriented writing about various medical issues makes her blog a welcoming destination for anyone interested in endometriosis or infertility.
If you “make the rounds” of endometriosis blogs available, you’ll notice Allison’s blog is listed in one blogroll after another. Her blog is a staple for so many endometriosis patients and bloggers.
During the Endometriosis Awareness Month activities in March, Allison pitched in and helped by writing a letter to a magazine we were targetting for endometriosis coverage, posted comments to media articles containing misinformation about endometriosis (correcting the errors), guest blogged, posted a link to an endometriosis awareness petition prominently on her blog, etc.
Allison is a caring, thoughtful person who goes out of her way to be helpful and supportive to fellow patients.
If you are not familiar with Allison’s blog, I highly recommend it:
Finally, I would like to mention that today happens to be Allison’s birthday! So please stop on over to her blog and wish her a happy birthday…

(Readers, on a separate note, I will be picking a winner for Blog Giveaway 1 tonight and you can expect to see the winner’s name posted sometime tomorrow morning).

Endochick’s last blog post..Miserable
Endochick,
Don’t feel badly. She’s a very busy lady herself. She won’t take it personally. Besides, it was only just yesterday.
