Please Support Allison
My friend, Allison, has two invisible conditions. She has endometriosis and she has battled infertility. She is currently pregnant. This pregnancy did not come easily. She now has a fever. A friend of hers just suffered her third pregnancy loss in a year (see Allison’s blog post below for more information but her friend’s most recent loss followed her having flu-induced fever). So you can only imagine Allison is feeling apprehensive right now.
Whatever your personal spiritual or religious beliefs may be, I would appreciate if you could send any of the following Allison’s way: positive thoughts, prayers, healing thoughts, etc.
With Allison’s permission, I have posted messages on twitter as well. (I have found twitter to be the fastest way to get a message out recently).
Allison doesn’t use twitter a great deal but since I do, I asked her if I could tweet to ask people for their support for Allison at this time.
In addition to asking my regular readers to support Allison, I would greatly appreciate any support from the Invisible Illness Week community. Allison has overcome tremendous obstacles regarding her medical conditions. Her positive attitude is refreshing. Her resilience is a model for all.
Please, everyone, send positive thoughts/prayers Allison’s way at this time. Thank you!

Thank you! Allison went through a great deal to get pregnant and when I got her email I was devastated for her because I knew she had just watched her friend go through a pregnancy loss after a fever. I haven’t connected with her today yet. I hope she’s feeling better!
