Have A Very Happy Thanksgiving!

For those of you who are in the United States and celebrating Thanksgiving today, Happy Thanksgiving!

In preparing to write this post, I reflected back at what I had written last year.

Since I am feeling rather tired and drained today, I am simply going to add a few quotes here…

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow”.
~~ Melody Beattie

“It isn’t what you have in your pocket that makes you thankful, but what you have in your heart”.
~~ Author unknown

“No one who achieves success does so without the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude”.
~~Alfred North Whitehead

I hope you all have a very happy, peaceful Thanksgiving!

Tim and I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving… despite not having this holiday over here in the UK, I must be picking up on it from you all, because my most recent post was a reflection of where we are now to where we were a year ago… a perfect way to realise what we have to be thankful for xx

Thank you. We did have a nice, quiet day. I am very behind on reading blogs and leaving comments lately but I’ll get to yours as soon as I can. In all the time I’ve been online, I have never been so behind or felt so overwhelmed. I am trying to keep juggling all of the balls in the air… but my fear is that I am dropping more and more of them lately. I simply can’t keep up. I owe so many people reply messages for email or various sites that it’s not even funny. I look forward to reading your post. Gratitude/perspective posts are always fun to read.

This is really sweet, Jeanne.

Money does not buy happiness overall. It IS what you have in your heart. (But good to have a donut in your pocket.) 🙂

You ought to know a thing or two (or three) about sweet, Sugar Lady. (Readers unfamiliar with Jannie’s first CD are highly encouraged to check it out. Then, you’ll know what Sugar Lady means).

Now, where was I my sweet, funny friend?

No, money does not buy happiness overall. What is in your heart IS very important. (You and your donuts! You’re too funny). 🙂

P.S. When will your second CD be released? I can’t wait!
