Helping women with chronic illnesses

I should be asleep at this hour. Instead, it’s the middle of the night and I am wide awake. Hopefully, I will soon be sound asleep just like my koala friend.

Endometriosis Awareness Month or not, I am taking a break from blogging. I am drained and exhausted.

As soon as I get some energy, I’ll be back to do a proper post.

Have a great weekend!

P.S. If you have not yet checked out our endometriosis awareness petition, please click below! We’ve made great progress but the more signatures we get, the better. Thank you!

Yes, I have been catching up on sleep already this weekend. Thanks. 😉

Yes, aren’t koalas cute?

Good for you getting things straightened out with that situation at your work. I’m sorry you had to go through all that stress! Thanks. 😉

Wishing you a restful night, when I was having issues sleeping I purchased some cd’s which were helpful. From time to time I still listen to them they do help, at least I find I’m relaxed.

Blessings Dorothy from grammology

Thank you. Today was a tough day for my fibromyalgia symptoms and I caught up on sleep during the day. I too use CDs to help me get to sleep. Yes, it does help. The main reason for my current exhaustion is taking on too much. I have pushed the envelope energy-wise. I need to dial back. My body has spoken. I’ve learned I really need to heed its warnings. 😉

I hope you are well!

I hope you’re getting good rest – you really deserve it! Thanks so much for all of your efforts – you are truly amazing.

Love you,

p.s. I slept til 10:45 on Friday morning. I woke up and thought I was in college 😉 Guess I really needed it. Long story I’ll shoot you an email. xo

Thank you for your kind words! I have been sleeping in a lot lately. The change of seasons has triggered a full-blown fibromyalgia flare-up and I’m still not feeling 100% after the bug I had gotten that should be long gone by now. Anyway, I got spoiled talking to you daily back when I was on Twitter; I miss you. You make me laugh! 😉

Love you too,

P.S. Sometimes sleeping in is needed. It’s like the body’s way of saying, “hey lady, whether you would like to acknowledge it or not… you ARE chronically ill”! Sometimes our bodies force us to rest. I’m sure you did need it. I know you keep busy! I look forward to your email. xo

Hi jingle,

I was just looking at the beautiful butterfly in your:

Seven Word Sunday

I picked these 7 words for that photo: beauty, color, nature, photography, appreciation, amazing, crisp

Try to get some rest!

Love you, Jeanne!!

Tori is being shipped tomorrow — with absolutely no scents at all! 🙂

Had a dream last night with you playing guitar in it, and singing beautifully. And your hubby was on bass! Crazy dreams.

Right now, I’m trying to get my sleep schedule back on track. It’s really off now. I hope you are well!

Woo hoo! I’m so excited about winning your Tori Amos blog giveaway! You dreamt I was playing the guitar while singing beautifully and that my husband was playing bass, huh? Wow, you’re even more creative than I thought! As you know from previous conversations, the sound (I mean the noise) of my voice singing is enough to send nearby wildlife scattering to the winds. So that portion of the dream alone was highly entertaining to me. I tried playing the guitar in music class in 8th grade and got very sore fingers. It left me wondering how people play guitar because it was so much harder than it looked! Finally, the idea of my husband playing bass is equally hilarious. While he always wanted to play guitar growing up, he never got to take lessons the way he wanted to. He’s no bass player. You are too funny! 😉

Once I get my sleep schedule back to where it was (which was already out of sync with the rest of the world but not as badly), I’ll be doing OK. My body is all confused right now. Thank you for your kind words, Kerry. I’ll be honest. Endometriosis Awareness Month can be draining. However, we were able to get the word out quite a bit. So, I’m happy about that. Endometriosis awareness is a year-round thing for me but March certainly is where things get stepped up.

Yeah… this is sooooo late! LOL Hope you’re getting sleep now, though. I so missed endometriosis month this year. 🙁

No apologies for being “late” commenting. There are no deadlines here and I know you have been very busy with school work (among other things)! As far as me getting sleep, it’s after 4:00 am now. So, I’m not doing well on that count. I got quite riled up earlier tonight and that always triggers insomnia for me. Don’t worry about not getting to blog about endometriosis as much as you would have liked this year. You had school work to focus on. No guilt! 😉 You work on endometriosis awareness year-round, anyway!
