Engage With Grace: Third Annual ‘One Slide’ Blog Rally

This is the third year for the Engage With Grace blog rally and also the third year in which I have participated. Watch (below) the first video I ever saw of Alexandra Drane speaking about how this campaign came to be:

After watching that video and reading a blog post about this campaign back in 2008, I decided to write about it then.

Here is the “one slide” that Alexandra Drane talks about:

For clearer resolution of the slide above, and where you can download your own copy, please see this site:

Here (see clip below) is a more recent video of Alexandra Drane talking about Engage With Grace: The One Slide Program. (Please disregard any ad that might appear at the start of this video as I have no control over it. My apologies for the ad):

Finally, see this article: CNN Health: At Thanksgiving, the hardest conversation, for more information.

While this conversation may be difficult to bring up, the advantages of doing so are great and getting a clear understanding of your loved ones wishes is very important.

For more information see the Engage With Grace: The One Slide Show Facebook page and/or their Twitter page.

For those of you living in an area that celebrates Thanksgiving, I wish you a peaceful holiday. Happy Thanksgiving!

Jenn,

I happened to hear about it as the campaign was just launching the year before last. It really is an important conversation for people to have. So I have blogged about it every year since.

Jeanne
