Do You Have Questions About Tomorrow’s Love Beats Hate Event?

You can register to participate in the Love Beats Hate event on the Facebook page below. Planning to do a blog post? Please post a comment about your intentions on the Love Beats Hate Facebook page. Others may be inspired to participate when they see your comment posted. For bloggers participating by writing a post for February 10th, please post the link to your blog post on the Love Beats Hate Facebook page. That way we can properly track the posts. Also, more people will see what you have written and you will be able to find other Love Beats Hate posts more easily.

We’re using the page below as the information hub for this event. We will continue to use this same page throughout the year between blogging events:

If you don’t have a blog, there are many things you can do to participate in Love Beats Hate. Please read on for more information.

Whether you are new to Love Beats Hate or you were involved in the first event in November 2010, please take a moment to read this as it may clarify any questions you might have. If you have any questions that are not answered here, please post a comment at the bottom of this post and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Love Beats Hate is a blogging event designed to shine a spotlight on the power of love and the importance of speaking out on behalf of marginalized populations.

If you are new to Love Beats Hate, please review the objective and mission statements at the Love Beats Hate page on Facebook:

For the November 2010 Love Beats Hate event, participating bloggers registered for the event using the Linky Tool. For the February 10th event, we are not using the Linky Tool. (By the way, the company that operates Linky Tool has switched from a free to a paid service very recently).

We had already planned to use the Love Beats Hate Facebook Page for tracking the February 2011 posts anyway. However, the rule change for Linky means that the November list is not available for reference. That list of November posts might be especially helpful for those newer to Love Beats Hate.

In any event, the list of registered bloggers for the first Love Beats Hate event is not visible to the public via Linky. Since I had set up the Linky Tool for the November event, I am still able to login there and view the blogs that registered there and determine whose Love Beats Hate posts are still visible on their own blogs. Since I thought some people might wish to see the blog posts that were listed on it, I have taken information from the November Linky Tool for Love Beats Hate and shared it below:
