Hi wchingya,

I'm glad you liked it. You know, I got to wondering about the musical artist for that video after reading your comment so I Googled her. It turns out she is quite an interesting woman. For more information on her, see her site:

Angelique Kidjo

More information about her according to that site says, "born in Benin (West Africa), Angelique Kidjo is a Grammy award-winning music recording artist deemed 'Africa's premier diva' by Time Magazine".

Anyway, I am glad you enjoyed the clip. The music certainly was uplifting for me and Dale Chihuly's glass work never fails to amaze me. So, it was a winning combination.

I left you a comment pertaining to my Twitter experience. I've written a bit about what happened on my blog but I need to update it.

I hope you are enjoying the holidays yourself!

May I join you, Jannie? :-) *dancing*

This is one unique piece of art+music combination. I never heard of it before and wondering what language is that, but the music is enough to keep me moving so that's ok. :-) A special way to share Christmas joy, Jeanne. Thanks for the clip.

Happy holidays!

Jannie,

Isn't that a great peace quote? Yes, we all have the power to create peace. I really believe that.

I'm glad you like it!

Wasn't that music cool? It made me want to dance too. Plus, I don't think you can ever go wrong with Dale Chihuly.

Merry Christmas to you too, Jannie.

That Robert Fulghum quote is absolutely one of the greatest very best quotes I've ever read. We really can create peace, peace within, no matter the storms.

Awesome!!

And what catchy music to go with that artwork slide show. I'm still dancing to it here in my chair.

Merry Christmas one day late.

KK,

I think Gyan was joking. I don't think she actually plans on casting any spells on your computer. :)

Gyan,
There is not a spell that slows down a computer. Well maybe "imperio" will work but you have to really mean it. But no sending spells at my computer! KK

Endochick,

I would LOVE to see that in person! That is just awesome. I'm sure as amazing as it is in that picture you sent that it's that much more so in person. I had never seen that site before. I appreciate you sending it. It really is amazing. It's just beautiful!

Gyan,

Isn't that video and music awesome? I just love it. I also love the site Endochick sent... That may be the largest Dale Chihuly piece I've seen!

Jeanne

P.S. Yes, Alohamorakat was pretty speedy that time. Haha. For those readers unfamiliar with Harry Potter, "alohamora" is a spell from the book. I'm not sure what spell would slow her computer down so that you could beat her to first commenter. I'd have to review the Harry Potter books to refresh my memory on whether or not there is such a spell. You are too funny!

It's wonderful in person. You can see it from all these vantage points as you walk the spiral walkway from floor to floor. Then you look down, the link gives a nice view of this shot, and see how it all rests on the glass canopy. It's breathtaking. They even have an 3D show or something like that about it. I didn't see it, but I've heard it's worth it.

Endochick,

Wow!! That is stunning!!! Dale Chihuly's work just absolutely amazes me. I've seen videos where they show the work being assembled. It's just mind-boggling.
